Our newly remodeled motel rooms offer a contemporary retreat in a charming, vintage setting, each boasting easy access to the Parkway which runs just beyond our front yard. ROOM TYPES & DETAILS
Each of our rooms feature modern bathrooms with walk in showers, heating & AC, high speed Wifi & ethernet, convenient storage, coffee station, luxury bedding and premium linens.
Our King and Queen rooms each have one bed with a small sitting area and our Double rooms each have two double beds. During renovations we expanded all the bathrooms to include a large step-in shower and a well-lit vanity area with sink and ample under counter storage.
Our Comfort rooms meet the needs of the budget minded traveler with all the standard features listed above.
The Deluxe rooms include some additional amenities like a refrigerator, complimentary snacks & water as well as premium toiletries.
Premium rooms include a welcome gift, refrigerator & microwave, premium complimentary snacks & drinks, premium toiletries and more.
Our "ADA Friendly" room features a standard size front door and bathroom door, with shortened vanity counter allowing movement throughout for a standard wheelchair.
PROPERTY FEATURES & AMENITIES
The property is nestled up against the Blue Ridge Parkway with beautiful natural views in all directions. Every guestroom has a basic outdoor sitting area and there are picnic tables located in various spots around the property for our guests to enjoy.
We built a firepit from stones found on the property and when the weather is suitable and the risk of wildfire is low it is a nice place to enjoy an evening fire. Maybe even roast some marshmallows and have s'mores.
By the front desk we have a board game library including classics like Monopoly, Sorry!, Scrabble, Playing Cards, Chess, Checkers & more!
There is a kid's swing hanging from a tree branch and plenty of lawn for kids and pets to play. Yes, we are very pet friendly and all pets are welcome in all outdoor areas, just be sure to clean up after them!
Smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas as indicated by signs and the presence of a ash receptacle.
On a clear night there is a great view of stars and the milky way, especially from the back deck near rooms 10-12. On certain scheduled nights we may turn off the property's outdoor lights to increase visibility.
